Our story

My son and VP of Sales, is learning more about making a buck instead of asking for a buck.  While he's going door to door asking to pick up dog poop, he's also going to be the face and voice of ShipMyPaddle.  

As the story continues...

I recently got back into selling on eBay, trying to offload some old pickleball paddles.

I’d been using Facebook Marketplace… and forgot how painful it is.
“Is this still available?”
“Will you take half?”
People showing up just to negotiate - No fun. 

So, back to eBay.

Selling was easy. Shipping was not.

I wanted to do it right, good packaging, good seller rating, etc., so I went to UPS / FedEx. Wrong size box. Paid extra. Still didn’t fit well.  I noticed that paddle shops recommended padded mailers, only to have it arrived damaged.  

Then I tried Amazon - I figured there had to be pre-made paddle boxes like there are for golf clubs.

Nothing.

That’s when it clicked.

Why isn’t there a simple, ready-to-ship box made specifically for pickleball paddles?

So I made one.

If you’ve ever sold a paddle online, you’ve probably hit the same problem.
This is the fix.

The VP and I ship out the folded boxes ourselves.  We'll ship them as fast as we can and we'll even throw in a bubble wrap for the paddle.
